Here is a complete set of poultry house plans for you to build your own chicken coop. Made for "24 birds", this building is designed for efficient, profitable egg production. Perfect for the average size family interested in self-reliant living. The set is adaptable as an EnviroCept game bird or game bird shelter and includes helpful notes on raising a variety of birds and includes a material list with helpful equipment details for successful completion. Structure is 8' x 12'. Poultry area is 8' x 8' with a feed and litter storage area 4' x 8'. There are six laying nest accessible through small doors in the joining wall between the two rooms. Roosting area is above the floor and to the back of the structure. Poultry generally roost there and leave there droppings in the clean out area below. The clean out area is separated from the poultry living area. The clean out area can be cleaned through doors in the back of the coop without entering the living area of the birds.
